Cuban Portraits – Women

A clerk working on the most touristy street in Old Havana.

I have a whole series of laundry-on-balcony pictures, but this lady didn’t have any laundry.

A lunch counter in Central Havana.

A woman selling flowers, candles and cigars.

A fashion statement on Callejon de Hamel on our Sunday visit to that street.

Thank you Inese. I have not done much photography since Cuba but hope to get back at it, and posting on WP soon.

You have got plenty of photographic material, enough to put up many blogs 🙂 What a great opportunity. Absolutely love your Cuba series.

My problem has been that I’ve been too fatigued from cancer surgery and now Chemotherapy, or busy with house selling, condo renovating, caregiving to my partner with Alzheimers’ that blogging is not high on my list of things to get done.

It is good to take your mind off things, from time to time. Blogging takes you to the world where all is well… Don’t feel like you ‘have to get it done’. Come here to do things that are pleasant to you. Don’t add another pain to your backside 🙂 Take good care of yourself, take one step at a time. Sending love xx

Thank you Inese. Happy New Year. Chemo has finished – moving into a new year with hope.

Happy New Year, and may it be healthy and kind. Glad the chemo is over. It takes too much energy 😦 Eat light, do things that make you happy so that your mood is lifted. Sending love x

Have been missing your posts. Thought you may be ill, so I read your comments section here. Sorry to hear of your tribulations in 2017 and pray 2018 will be easier for you. Apart from wanting you better, the world needs to see more of your great photos. Happy, healthier New Year!

    • BuntyMcC says:

Thank you Candia. I hope to start blogging again at the end of this month; sixth and last chemo is Monday and since my last chemo cycle I’ve managed to edit a number of photos taken last spring in Scotland and England.

  11. Jean says:

Bunty, I was unaware you had cancer. Hope this treatment will help!

Thinking of you these past two days. Hope you feel better soon.

So do I! We’ve had a reprieve from the super-cold weather so I hope to get out walking again next week (after our projected ice storm! and the week of chemo pain that follows each treatment!) It does wonders for my mood and energy level. Thanks for your well wishes.

Wonderful portraits, Bunty. I love the complementary colors in some. I’m so sorry to read that you’ve been ill. Sending warm wishes for positive improvements in the new year for you and your partner.
