    I stood there in the 1990’s. A grand view as ever.

      It was worth the wait and the queues, but I almost didn’t go. Glad I did, as it also gave me a better geographical perspective on Manhattan.

    They were. Mid-afternoon was a good time as there were shadows and we must have picked a good day because the queues were reasonable.
