iPhriday/iSaturday – A Week in Southern Ontario

Sunset over dormitory accommodation at Unicamp

My daughter asked me to join her at Unicamp of Ontario for a week to help with my grandchildren. So I did. We stayed in a ‘dorm’ and got our food in a communal dining hall.

On the drive from Kitchener to Honeywood there are dozens of windmills between Elmira and Shelburne.

One of the camp activities was caving in the rocks of the Niagara Escarpment. My brave eight-year old grand went through every one.

It was very, very, very hot all week. When it rained on our last afternoon, the six-year old put wet handprints on the dark paint.

The reason I was asked to help was the youngest grand: a 20-month old, never-stops, already-terrible two. He’s the blonde on the right.
