Abstract – Cuban Walls

Old Havana, Cuba, Day 1

Old Havana, Cuba, Day 1

I could have spent my entire five days of photography in Havana just looking for beautiful details in the weathered exteriors of the buildings.

Even the freshly painted walls held lovely finds.

Great Finds, these actually look like you took photos in an art gallery.

Know what you mean … I love textures and colours too in walls and doors etc. These are great ones.

One of my colleagues was all set to only photograph textures and closeups and then she got hooked on people photography.
      Thanks for commenting.

    I love these!

They are so different from exteriors here where peeling paint and lichen-encrusted siding are about the only choices in wall photos!

What a great idea! We’ve sure got our share of faded, peeling walls here in Italy too. But never thought of photographing them!! Have to give that a try. These are beautiful.

  5. These are glorious photos! I see a photo exhibit in your future.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Janet. The four of us who went to Cuba – all from the same photo club – showed photos digitally at our March meeting. As for other exhibits – I always put pictures in the local photo show but otherwise haven’t got the time or energy to arrange one. I did have a show in a couple of coffee shops of pictures taken in Mali ten (10) years ago.
