Wandering for two years and 300 posts

Confederation Trail 19 to 23

Confederation Trail 19 to 23

This is my 300th post on WordPress. I published my first on October 27, 2013, almost exactly two years ago. I started the blog to share my photos of a tour to China with my fellow travellers, and have gone on to show off Prince Edward Island, Toronto, San Francisco, and New York City  – among other destinations.

Who knows where the wandering will take me from here. I have a stock of digital photos from Japan, Thailand and Peru that you can expect to see in the coming year. I have a photo workshop booked in Havana for February. And I hope to start digitizing slides from earlier years.

Until then, I’m wandering paths in PEI on the Confederation Trail. (Well, not today – we had snow this morning!)

Thank you to all my followers, to those who comment on my photos,  and to those who look at my posts on Facebook. Blessed be.

Thanks for following all this time, Sandy. I will be in Kitchener pre-Christmas to see daughter and grands. Still not close enough to visit though.

  2. Congrats with the milestone… and good luck with all your plans. We will enjoy them with you through your beautiful pictures!

  3. I discovered your blog this morning, and like it a lot. Your essays and photos get a thumbs-up from me.

  5. Can’t wait to see the Havana pics!

    • BuntyMcC says:

Ah, yes, you’re and American! I figured I’d better go to Cuba before it was over-visited by my neighbours to the south – not to mention that the workshop is very reasonably priced.

    Gorgeous pictures of the trail!
Congrats on your 300th post! It sounds like we started our blogs around the same time (for me it was November 2013).

  7. Lovely, a beautiful part of Canada that I hope to see for myself someday. Until then I will enjoy your view, thanks for sharing

Thanks for following. As beautiful as autumn can be, come in the summer, half the Island closes down come September. On the other hand the bugs are gone and the colours are vibrant.

Congrats on reaching 300! I love birch trees so enjoyed your photos in this post.

    • BuntyMcC says:

Thanks for following. Some of the trees are birch, some are poplar. And I cheated on all the photos and brightened the ends of the tunnels. I think the one on the left of the second photo is birch.

Now I am wondering if the lighting made me see more birch than there are…they are beautiful anyway!😊
