Floating Boundary

The WordPress Photo Challenge for this week is boundaries.
As many people have noted in their posts – which you can see by clicking on the link above – boundaries are often self-constructed.

This boom forms the boundary of a yacht basin but its intent is primarily to reduce the threat of storm-generated waves. The seagulls may have been sheltering from the wind, or eating food corralled by the boom, but it’s no physical boundary to Jonathan Livingston or his relatives. The book, popular in the 70’s, says a lot about society-imposed boundaries.
