The blue jay is the provincial bird of PEI. Bossy and noisy. If one finds food, it calls the rest of the group nearby; we have about eight. When more than one of them descends on the feeders, most of the little birds take cover in nearby shrubs. Still, they are colourful and attractive.

These were taken during the blizzard last week.

    Thanks. They’re pretty big, 11 inches, noisy and aggressive. So not sweet, but very colourful.
