The old Halifax Public Library has been decommissioned. Churchill will be lonely.
Perhaps they’ll move him across the street and up a block to the new library, which is supposed to look like a stack of books, which it does, somewhat, but not from this angle.
The building on this corner was once a bank and now houses a couple of pubs and a restaurant, including Rogue’s Roost.
We hiked up to the Halifax Citadel and walked around 3/4 of it but didn’t go in; it was too nice a day to spend in a museum.
And we walked through the Public Gardens, also shown in an earlier post.
