There is a working pump in the yard next to the schoolhouse at Orwell Corner Historic Village. Mum grew up near here, and volunteered to show Dad how the pump worked. The triplets were fascinated.
The school features desks and chairs and Lady looked right at home in the teacher’s chair.
A thoughtful addition to the schoolhouse was a tiny replica of the village, perfect for toddlers to play in.
