Adventure-The Appalachian Trail

Having Read Bill Bryson’s hilarious “A Walk in the Woods” about his adventures on the Appalachian Trail (which runs from Georgia to Mt Katahdin, Maine) we were intrigued by the offer of a guided walk on the trail. We climbed Mount Minsi in an hour from a trail entrance in the town of Delaware Water Gap, and took about the same amount of time to walk back down.

The Highway in the background is I-80, the river is the Delaware, and the mountains on the other side are in New Jersey, including the tall one on the right, Mount Tammany.
